Written by my mother, Suzanne Hébert, this song is in the style of popular folk songs that were being written at the time (late 1970's) in French-Canada. Gentle, rocking, and quasi dream-like in its harmonies, The verses describe someone working the land to create their home, while the chorus remarks on the passage of time.
